School District will continue Learn from Home for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year

The Columbia County School District will continue Learn from Home activities for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year in compliance with the executive order issued by Governor Brian Kemp. However, the school district will be closed April 6-13 for Spring Break, and students and parents are encouraged to enjoy this week without Learn from Home requirements.

Food Assistance During Spring Break

While the CCSD is closed for Spring Break, April 6 - 13, several local groups and organizations are available to provide food assistance to families in need. Check the Resources option on our CCSD Coronavirus Information and Resources page.

Meal Distribution for Students in Need

Students in need of food during the shutdown are encouraged to complete a request to pick up meals at one of our seven designated schools pick up sites beginning Monday, March 23, 2020 - Friday, April 3, 2020. After spring break, meal pickup will resume Wednesday, April 15 and will occur on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays through the remainder of the shutdown.
